Just Wanna Share My Disapointment On Glenn Ang. (TUP-Visayas Talk)

Me isa ko ka issue nga nabatian halin sa migo ko ECE 5th year subong... I dont know ano reaction nyo di. About ni sya kay migo ta Glenn ah... :rolleyes:

Kay biskan ako pagkabati ko daw nagtaas kilay ko...:hmmm:

Kay during sang selection sang ila nga travel agency this July para sa ila nga field trip... Me 2 ka companies ang gin pa present.

Ang L & BC and ang JAUNTS and JOURNEYS...

According to my friend... G. Ang boldly show his support to the other company, the JAUNTS and JOURNEYS... promoting it well during his classes.

Well tell ka friend ko infairness to him, daw la man una problema kay according to G.Ang, his just doing it to the batch... he just want to give them the best and memorable field trip. And his guiding the 5th year to the best choice..

But ang sadya lang during the votation na...

Weeks before sang votation the 2 travel agencies were given a chance to present their iterinaries and prices. And According to my friend L&BC, did the better presentation... kay daw mas active ang participation kuno sang students. plus medjo may advantage ang L&BC in terms sang Marketing plan presented.

Ang pinaka main event kuno happens during the votation guid...

Kay before mismo sang election gin pa present ni "ANG" ang JAUNTS pero ang L&BC ya wala... and take note... nga me mga changes na kuno sa Marketing plan nga gin present nila previously... :whist: (pwede ka pangampanya during sang election? :huh: )

And since si ANG kuno ang adviser nila... ANG can vote also between the 2, but ang Lain lang kuno ya... kay gin pakita nya guid sa bilog nga klac ang gin buto nya sa tunga, daku2x guid kuno nga nakasulat "J&J"... ang quote pa siya is... "Ako ya transparent guid katama..." :bleh:

So sa akon lang ya.. Gamay lang tane nga discretion and profesionalism a... ehem!

So what do you think? shrug

well guys.. i don't know the real story behind this matter.. but according to the post of shadow_skill404, it's quiet disappointing..

sang nagbisita ako sa TUP-V last May pagpuli ko da, we have a meeting with Sir Bonache. Together with Sir Ang and Sir Habaradas. Sir Ang expressed his disappointment with the way were talking here about him. Ang issue to bala nga nasumbagan sya? But i've also explain it to him that this is a forum ang we welcome here ( mods and admins ) exchange of ideas. Daw ka degrading kuno sa part nya as maestro ang ginapanghambal ta diri. kag isa pa, indi nya makilala kay gagamit kita mga nicknames.. In fairness to him, ang iban ta nga ginapanghambal diri kis-a sobra naman. Lets give a little respect to our past teacher maski dyutay lang ah.. hehehe... Pero indi ta guid na malikawan nga maghatag kita sang aton nga opinion base in our past experiences to him as our professor... I know Sir Ang is a member of this forum. Siguro kung may ara dira estudyante nga makapabalo sa iya about this issue, please tell him to respond to this post so that we can hear also his side about this issue...

ang akon lang sini, la ko maayo may mahambal, pero like what aubrom said, he just took the opportunity to decide for you...or maybe sa ini na case, influence your decision.

or...

basi may pasalig na to siya sa J&J, na amo gid to iya, pero tungod sa SNAFU(situation normal all f$#ked up) sa iya na side, he had to redeem himself (sa agency of his choice) by doing such a thing at the risk of losing his "delicadeza" to his students rather than to the agency.

or...

maybe may experience siya sa LBC na negative, amo na he's lobbying with J&J...

or...

wala lang...trip trip lang... :rolleyes:

but bottomline is, the majority should prevail...
ano nagdaog shadow? JJ or LBC? kung ang pilion sang mga studyante is LBC teh dapat amo to madaog eh, kung ano man na negative matabo, teh sala na na sang estudyante di ba...at least the whole class, or should i say team ang basulon, indi lang ang isa ka tawo...

pero if daog ang JJ despite the clear fact na ang gusto sang mga estudent LBC, there is something about JJ gid na dapat niyo maexperience(saying in a sarcastic way)

just sticking to the issue at hand...

as per shadow's post: G Ang already was already in favor of J&J prior to the start of presentation and votation so it's no wonder that during the votation process he publicly showed to his class his vote... though it's not a professional act, it may have been his last attempt to influence the decision of the class.... if he forced/coerced his students to vote in favor of J&J, then thats a different story...

another question is, was there a self vested interest in getting J&J or was he just after the welfare of his students? as a trainor, his responsibility is the welfare of the class during the field trip. he might have his reason why he was keen in getting the services of J&J as compared to LBC...

the important thing here is that the class was given the right to choose the service that they think is most beneficial to them... whether it was endorsed by their trainor or not, they still have the final say on what service they want.

disclaimer: I'm not for or against G. Ang. I don't even know him (personaly). Im just airing a different side of the story. :P

i'll go with migo mel's position... issue lng, alang personalan. pati disclaimer niya, pareho kami hehehe... ok man lng guro mag endorse, much more nga ang class is directly, ikaw ang responsible. i just don't know what's the feeling of the student at that moment kag daw na offend siya.

migo rasta, congrats for a good defense sa TVT. migo aubrom, migo nayr, out with what you feel. :thumb: you have the right and the freedom to express it.

we don't do censorship here, basta within limits lng ang pag-pautwas- wala name calling and of course, wala unfounded allegations.

it is a must also nga wala ginatago ang amo sini nga issue para indi na magbaho hehehe....

but am not comfortable with that ga-hold-kuno-grudge-si-sir thing... tuod na? we need to be professionals in handling criticism dapat e.
