You wrote "1986 - BSME was offered": the first BSME students were accepted in 1985. I belong to the 2nd batch of ME; I entered TUP-V in June 1986.

You wrote "1992 - Nippongo language course was offered": When I was on my 4th year in 1989~1990, Spanish was not taught to us anymore, but instead, we had Nihongo/Nippongo. Tamaki Aida, who was a Japanese volunteer sa Automotive Department was our first sensei.

worthy to add: In the 1990 ME Board Examinations released in 1991, the TUP-V ME 1st batch scored a 100% passing percentage.

FYI, the information came from the 1996 Yearbook. I guess it was not thoroughly fact checked.

Retired na si Dr.F. So. Pada as TUP president more than 5 years ago!After him was Dr. Adiviso (short term) then Dr. Fedesirio Camarao then the present one is Dr. Gallega.

I think they need to update this achievement portion of TUP-Visayas site.Need to include achievements in 2001 -2005 both for ECE and ME Board Exam Rankings and Number of Board Placers.

This is about how we address of our trainors in different departments , as we know most of them are engineers. Ang may mga Eng. lang ang ara sa College of M.Eng and ECE. How about in Chemical,Mechanical,Electrical and Elex?We should also address them Eng. too because they deserve to be called such.
