It aims to recognize the contribution of skilled workers who constitute the backbone of our industrial capacity. On June 13, 1997, one of the ten national awardees is a graduate of TUP- Visayas. At 23 years of age, he was the youngest among the recipients of the TOWER AWARD. He is connected with Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation. He has innovated the Platform Dolley and Roller LKD, thus resulting in accident-free work. He has also introduced the Gear Oil Gauge, which resulted in bigger savings of gear oil for the company. His name is Amormio C. Feria, a graduate of the Automotive Technology of TUP-Visayas in 1993.
