TECHNICAL SUPPORT SUPERVISOR

• 3-5 years of experience in process control
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• 1-2 years experience in managing a call support organization is highly desirable
• Detailed knowledge of process control from at least one target industry – Oil and Gas, Chemical, Refining, Pharmaceutical, or other fluid process control industries
• Experience in plant or with system acceptance and startup at customer sites
• Experience with computer networking and basic hardware (Ethernet), serial interfaces, routers, hubs etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, including system set-up, application installation and computer administration


TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

• Field service, telephone support, and/or customer service experience performed using non-scripted resolutions and trouble shooting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems, networking, computer hardware and word processing.
• Understanding of basic vibration or digital signal processing a plus.
• Working knowledge on process engineering, control system configuration, third-party integration and startup of process control projects
• Expertise in configuring or operating DCS, PLC, or SCADA systems.


TECHNICAL SUPPORT QUALITY ENGINEER

• Strong experience in analytical & problem solving disciplines typically associated with quality engineering & process improvement like Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, & Business Process Improvement.
• Proven experience in using PC tools such as MS Access, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Practical experience in data mining, both textual & field; demonstrated knowledge of database structures; background in working with, manipulating, organizing & retrieving data from various databases; i.e., data extraction from Oracle tables via ODBC link using MS Access or SQL, setting up routine trend reports using Access.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in process control or process engineering


PROCESS CONTROL/AUTOMATION ENGINEERS (URGENT!!!)
• 1-3 years experience on process engineering, control system configuration, third-party integration and startup of process control projects
• Expertise in configuring or operating DCS, PLC, or SCADA systems.
• Exposure to discrete and continuous or batch controls, PC based MMI, Advanced Controls, Fieldbus or field instrumentation.
• Excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of other foreign language (Spanish, Mandarin or Japanese) is an advantage


SOFTWARE TEAM LEAD

• At least 8 years in software development
• Ideally experience in industrial or engineering applications and product development
• Knowledgeable in Object Oriented development
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Technologies including C# / .NET


PROJECT MANAGER

• Minimum six (6) years project management experience working on small/mid-large size project development teams (4-8 people)
• Minimum eight (8) or more years of software experience with Windows based software development (Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista)
• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Visual Studio, Visual C++, C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework 2.0 – Windows forms, ASP.NET, ADO.NET.XML, Web Services

TEST ENGINEER

• Develops automated test scripts for existing regression tests
• Participates in the Verification and Validation (V&V) test part of software development projects, through all project phases.
• Participates in test planning and tracking activities for the project, under the direction of the Test Manager and the Test Lead.
• Participates in the creation and review of test artifacts, including test designs, test procedures, and automated test scripts.
• Participates in the execution of V&V tests. Identify, track, and verify discrepancies throughout the project lifecycle.


REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

• Work with countries representatives in expanding the business by identifying, selecting and developing potential local accounts and market within the assigned industry
• Degree in Engineering with 7 – 10 years’ sales experience in the process control industry or Oil & Gas / Refining Industry
• Proven track records of exceeding revenue targets and generating new and existing business with customers
• Independent and resourceful, able to lead, manage, coach and motivates sales team
• Strong problem solving skills


SERVICES MARKETING SPECIALIST

 Engineering graduate (ChE, EE, ECE, ME, Computer Science/Engineering)
 Develop a marketing program that will champion awareness on the service product features and other key contents.
 Responsible for being a liaison between Emerson’s technology group and customer’s concerns, requests and suggestions for enhancements.
 Work with other department to ensure the quality, integrity and performance of current and upcoming service support products.
 Develop action plan when there is limited or no observable use of the service product features.
 Drives user inputs to implementation and communicate this back to the customers


MARKETING ANALYST
• 2+ years in business-to-business marketing research, market analysis, trend analysis, customer analysis, buying habit analysis
• Good communication skills in English, Written and Oral
• Basic understanding of economics, macroeconomics, micro economics; business-to-business marketing, research, and analysis; business statistics/math

• 2 – 3 years experience doing HTML and online help development using RoboHelp, Dreamweaver or other common tool
• 2 – 3 years experience using FrameMaker and Word.

Basically halos pang semicon and mga vacant positions (plus other industry of course) since my Tita-In-Law was also an HR Manager from various reputable semiconductor companies like Philips Cabuyao where I used to work also.

Although maraming positions available, she's asking if I know someone who can fill the position for PROCESS CONTROL/AUTOMATION ENGINEERS. Maraming silang slot for this position and the company is a very reputable American company. I know a close friend from ECE Batch 95 who is here for more than 10 years already. Kaya may tropa na agad kayo sa company na to:

By the way, I attended last weeks' reunion and I never thought na pwerte na gali kadamo sa aton di sa Manila (Luzon) especially the younger generations. During our time, (12-13 years ago) we can only pinpoint companies with TUPV / VTI alumni employed, subong halos tanan na nga manami nga companies may mga PROUD TUP-Vians na!... Well done mga utod....
